Long Island Alliance for Peaceful Alternatives:
The organization builds peace globally by acting locally through meetings, workshops, and events on issues related to peace, war, and social conflict. In the spring, the organization offers a Peace Fellows program that combines education with advocacy. Students participate as Peace Fellows or as volunteers who help to organize and attend events on campus. (CCE Fellows cannot simultaneously work as Peace Fellows.)
